A bit of a fragmented day....but good in many ways.   did some painting (see extra for the next piece in the underwater series....not done that's for sure!), had a lovely surprise visit from Jane and Gracie...always a delight, then 2 customers came up the hill, even altho i had the closed sign out!  i'm so glad they did venture up cos it turned out they were friends of a woman, Evelyn, who i only knew briefly....she was an artist here on Cape Breton island....who sadly died about a month ago!   Long story short;  the friend who took care of her prior to her death was looking to find some help with pricing and selling Evelyn's art supplies.... so i volunteered myself and Jane to go out there and help with that, and probably make some purchases myself.   They were overjoyed at the coincidence of me knowing her and being able to help with the art supplies!!!
