a two'er

Will and I had a game of conkers today. A new experience for him. Here is a picture of my two'er before Will won the next round. In the background is my Dad's old hand drill used to make the holes for the string.

When I was a wee young lad, I watched my big brother show me how to use the same drill to make holes in a bunch of conkers. I am pretty sure there is a photo of that event still kicking around. Not sure if I was "allowed" to use the drill back then.

Note: Conkers is a dangerous, full contact sport. I now have "unexplained "bruises all up my forearm from missed shots.
