Berry Season
My visit to the aquatic gardens was different this morning - only four cars in the parking lot, no lotuses in bloom, no little children, and an abundance of peace and quiet. I loved it. I had no time limit so I could meander to my heart's content, and I did just that. Wildlife was sparse, but I stayed long enough that I still spotted two hawks, two Northern Flickers, three warbler species, a Brown Thrasher and a couple of different flycatchers. Not that I got good photos of them all, but it was fun to try. I chose this Gray Catbird as my blip, because he was in action and a little closer than many of the birds I spotted.
