The evening primrose flowers

This plant has grown at the bottom of the steps down from the patio into the back garden. They volunteered as Bill Mollison once said to me.

I love them and the way they come and go. The birds will love their seeds in the later autumn, especially the goldfinches. there are lots of these plants dotted around the garden and new seeds have sprouted and formed small plants ready for next year's frolics.
