Pictures From the Peaceful Pontoon

A relaxing boat ride to end a glorious Michigan day. Still about 75F when we boarded the pontoon at our friends Robert and Linda's house. I made broccoli soup and cornbread for supper, and we ate it before we embarked.

Clockwise (sort of). 1 The Janice Mae cabin cruiser. (Rumor has it that the couple are behind a lot of the "partying" that takes place on the lake.)
2. A juvenile swan with a lot of brown showing.
3. A Pure Michigan sign.
4. A nice white house with a pretty gazebo.
5. Three caroling canines.
6. Another toddler swan that has got most of his/her white feathers.

After the ride? Strawberry shortcake for dessert, and the boys beat the girls 2-0 in a heated euchre match. (There was some whining going on. "We just didn't get the cards, what are we supposed to do?") WAA! WAA! WAA!

I really need to work on being a better winner.
