Trip to the Hillfoots

Drive through to Sterling for a look at the furniture as we need a side table and can’t seem to get anything suitable. We did see one but none in stock and will take 12 weeks to order!! We will keep looking.... also saw some structures for the bottom of the garden but are undecided what we want to do there.

Stopped off in sunny Bridge of Allan for coffee and refreshment at the Friend of Mine! Their coffee is superb and so are their Halloumi fries and toasted fruit loaf courtesy of the excellent bakery Wild Hearth near Comrie.

Walked up next to the river and looked on at the beautiful (but expensive) big houses with masses of garden.

Always feel an affinity to B of A as was born in Airthey Castle which is now part of the University.
