Decorating Cup Cake Day.

It's been a lovely day today.

We went out for a walk and fed the ducks.  

We then went to the local shopping centre, to decorate cup cakes.

The girls had a much better time today.  The were given a box, with a cup cake, icing, jelly beans, chocolate, and hundreds and thousands.  There were also some stickers, to decorate the box with.  And for some strange reason 2 wooden decorations (we've already lost one).

Mia took it all very seriously.  She made a good job of the icing, putting it on very delicately.  Then she added a few decorations.

Isabella, poured all the icing on, and most of the decorations.  The smile on her face, just made me laugh.

After we finished, we walked around the shopping centre.  We bought a few things.

Back home they ate their cupcake.  Then went in the pool.

We spent a bit of time on numbers and letters.  Isabella did some writing with Grandpa.  I did a number puzzle with Mia.  She recognized all the numbers up to 7 and then got a bit tired!

Things that made me smile today, (apart from Isabella's cake decorating!)

Mia recognizing animals- Me - hedgehog, Mia- hodgeheg, Me - Squirrel, Mia - squirl.

I asked Isabella where their doll's got their dresses from.

'From that place with all the little houses, when Mia was still in a pushchair, and that lady sold all the dresses.' 

 She meant the market on the beach, all the stalls are inside tents.  It must be over a year since we went there!
