Georgian St Peter Port

Another walk from the Autumn Walking Festival today and once again around town. And once again very different from other town walks. 
There was a lot of interest in this amazing cabinet that converts to a secretaire in the de Saumarez Room in St Peter Port Constables Office.
 It was used by the Procureurs of the Poor; an office which exists today in each parish but has few duties now. I was on of the Procureurs of the Poor in Torteval during the 1990s.
