View from Mon's cottage

This was taken at 4:15 pm. Two months ago it would have been dark by this time. We are making progress into the light! My mom's time in the cottage is winding down. In two weeks we'll be packing her up and driving her back to Maryland. Boohoo. It's been nice to see each other through the darker days. Year two of grieving my dad has been in some ways harder than year one. My mom is a survivor. A sad one, but a survivor.
