Wind Power

Me and Mrs MD had an afternoon walk along Soyland Moor - above Ripponden.  To say that it was bracing would be a considerable understatement.....
These two turbines (which provide power for a farm down in a hollow just off the moor) were rotating at considerable r.p.m. - and in fact were making a quite loud 'swishing' noise.
