Red roses

Thought these red roses against the (mostly) blue sky were quite striking. I spotted them on my walk with Toby this morning.

I had a day to myself today and had planned to spend most of it walking but have been floored by a rotten cold so just did a few miles with Toby first thing before coming home to make soup. I then treated myself to an afternoon binge watching a drama. I usually prefer to keep pretty busy but did feel the benefits of a lazy afternoon. Need to try to make up the miles tomorrow though!
