Red Admiral

It has been a beautiful day and it began with this beauty which stopped on the silver birch trunk to absorb some sun's rays this morning.
We delivered more of N's wood turning to the local art gallery then I did the weekly shop at our village store. The afternoon was spent clearing some weeds from the fruit cage in preparation for planting the new cherry trees over the weekend. Then we waved goodbye to the old car....I shed a small tear as I did like it, but we need to move on. We really don't need two diesel guzzlers.
