Hill End history

This historic structure in Hill End is being researched currently. There are a number of buildings from a similar period, and the information provided on signs along the streets mean you can feel as though you're right back then, in the 19th century atmosphere of a town with the whole world at its feet. (Only there was a lot of poverty, dust and disappointment not too far away as well.)
