Peter the Great in Deptford.
Encouraged by recent improvements in my walking range, I decided to make a long overdue visit to the Dog and Bell in Deptford. This may have been a mistake, as I think I've aggravated my calf injury, or possibly added a second one - as the new aches and pains are now more in my ankle.
The Peter the Great statue is at the confluence of the Thames and Deptford Creek. The residential block on the opposite side of the Creek was/is one of the blocks which used the inflammable cladding that was also installed on the Grenfell Tower. The developer is in the process of replacing the cladding - hence the mast-climbers on its exterior.
