Autumn path..

Mr Bee and I had an early walk this morning into Haigh Plantations. The temperature was barely above 8c so we were well up wrapped against the cold.
Autumn is just starting to show her face and the paths are now littered with crunchy leaves. The dappled sunlight was really pretty as it filtered through the trees.
We saw very few people on our walk, just the occasional dog walker and cyclists, and that’s just the way we like it.
To have these ancient pathways to ourselves is a real joy and lifts the spirits.
