Nissen Hut
This caught my eye today, situated in Queen Street Gardens, Edinburgh. These huts, built during the two world wars took only 4 hours to assemble, and their semi-circular shape efficiently deflected shrapnel and bomb blast, making them useful bomb shelters. This one now houses gardening equipment.
