Don't keep me hanging on the telephone.

Our electrical problem is  exactly the same as yesterday. I phoned the energy supplier again this morning, and I am still waiting for them to return my call. Mr Sparks, the guy who  told us he would call this morning between 9 & 11am to give us un estimate was a no show, so we phoned him again, and he forgot to take my number yesterday and  so he couldn't phone me back, but his van has broken down and he was waiting for a call out. You couldn't make it up, could you?. As we haven't done a food shop this week, we went to our local shop to get food that can be cooked in the microwave or on the hob, because by the looks of things out oven isn't going to be working any time soon.  I am sure we won't starve though:-)
