Thai Cottage

Rain most of the morning so I stayed in and messed around with guache for the first time, I think, with a very old paint set. I frankly hope it was the fault of old paint because it was difficult: gloppy and hard to mix.
When the rain stopped, I walked into town, ordered our dinner from Thai Cottage and called Eric to come and pick me up. It was good to see so many people out and around, including someone from the Tuesday morning knitting I hadn't seen since pre-covid.
We watched the  Monterey Jazz Festival on its YouTube channel and became nostalgic and sad - as well as cheered by how great it was.
