Piss On It!

Pretty much sums up my state of mind this morning. 
Ruby-throated Hummingbird, taking a break. *extra another shot of him(?).
'Our' Hummers are still around although I expect that any day now they will begin their fall migration. In fact, I think that the females have already left since I haven't seen any in a few days. There are still tasty nectar-producing blooms on many of our plants and I'm still putting out our feeders for them. I will continue that until I'm sure that they're indeed gone. I've heard reports that there are small populations of Ruby-throats that are 'resident' and don't migrate, but I've not been able to confirm that they remain in our neighborhood.
