Himself went down to Brighton on his own today, so see N and watch football. N and A are (were) season ticket holders. I detest football so stayed in London and...

Dug up potatoes
Picked beans
Picked pumpkins
Picked kale, perpetual spinach and chard
Started the seasonal allotment tidy up
Sealed the leaky toilet roof (hopefully)
Painted the downstairs toilet woodwork
Bought dinner
Filled and emptied the D/ W
Put the washing away
Went into town for a mooch about.

It was nice to have the day to myself, it doesnt happen often.

Now for a glass of something in front of the frst fire of autumn. I have a lorry load of logs being deliverd on Monday so I may as well use up what's left first.
