A blue tit on the neighbour's thuja
When I got up I saw a thrush in the tree looking for the high climbing vine's grapes. I went to find my camera and a zoom lens but I didn't see it again. I spent some time watching robins, nuthatches and blackbirds all milling about in the same tree.
After taking Helena to the Shambles Market where she had a stall, I went shopping and came home to make coffee. I saw several goldfinches again flitting from perch to perch. Then this blue tit flew onto this evergreen shrub growing across our fence from the neighbours garden.
I took a few pictures as it probed for insects on the leaves. Now I've looked at the pictures I like this one best, with its classic back lit pose.
