Wild and windy

Wild and windy again today, and raining on and off all morning. So I tackled a few chores, and Lucy fetched a birthday bouquet that had been left for her at the local florist’s.

While MrM worked this afternoon, Lucy and I decided to brave the elements and walk round Humbleton Hill and back down through the Common. We left just after lunch, after the rain had stopped, and had a thoroughly enjoyable walk. Lucy was delighted to see two red squirrels on the Common, one leaping from tree to tree, the other on a feeder.

In the evening a film, and a glass or two of red in front of the fire.
