Puffin in progress

When I was over in Bonny Scotland visiting the Precious and family, she mentioned that if I painted a puffin she would put it up on the Gusling’s bedroom wall.

Cue some practising! I’ve drawn two puffins and painted one, but I’m not there just yet. I’ll keep drawing puffins in different poses until I find the one I like - and that I can draw! I’d quite like to paint a watercolour puffin, but I’m not sure about how I would do the black bits, since I’ve no black paint. It would just have to be a dark mix. A purple puffin? Time will tell....

It’s sunny here at the mo so we’re heading out for a walk. And maybe coffee. And possibly a bun. :)
