Bluebell woods in autumn

Just loved the light of this shot!  I was up early and made an apple flan for the girls.  Breakfast in bed then Mass and off we went for a different walk!!  This time to Relish where Ro bought a few pieces of cake and a takeout coffee and hot chocolate.  He had a bacon bap and I had a scone!  I was a bit surprised by the amount of jam and cream on my scone!  It was literally dripping out!  We feel we must do our bit to keep the place going!  We weren’t the only ones!! 

On the way home we walked through the bluebell wood.  Beautiful with the sun shining!  We sat on a new bench in front of the church taking in the warming rays.  Wonderful! 

On the way home we met the school secretary who told us just how happy the kids all were at getting back to school and their friends.  School is very different with class bubbles and everyone doing things at different times.  The kids had taken to the new routines with ease.  There was an awful lot more hand washing than before !  

Our girls had told us they loved having packed lunches! 
Off to do a bit of gardening!  Little and often.  I’m not so good at the often! :-)
