Wet Slab

Spent the day helping out on our slab for the garage, pulling concrete around, rolling it, floating it, washing down, and of course as the labouror making (& drinking) copious amounts of coffee.

First pour of concrete at 8am, steel reinforcing in, second pour at 9:30 ish. 11.5 cubic metres of concrete later (& a large cheque to the concrete man) & yer 'tis being worked on with the beam screed roller, or roller striker.

Still working on it with the float as it dries, should be dry by tomorrow & they will start work on it again on Monday

Off to River Cottage tomorrow for their Valentine's Feast, can't wait
