Nasturtium meets Tree Bumble Bee
Not the picture I planned to go with today, but when I sat down to process the images I was taken with the reflection of the petals in the eyes and on the body of the Tree Bumble Bee as it left the just harvested nasturtium flower. Do look large.
This was taken in the full sunshine of this morning, as Janet and I had coffee in the front garden. After a cold day yesterday and a chill night, it's been a lovely warm albeit windy day. This fellow was having a lovely time in the flowers under Janet's study window; ploughing through all the fuschia and nasturtium in the baskets.
In the afternoon I went out on Morrigan, hunting for dappled woodland shots on what might be one of the last 2020 rides. Those photo's still await my attention. Apart from the extra, which I felt I should put out there to remember the lovely day.
