South Downs Way
A cold wind blew across the Downs today as the spaniel and I walked one of our usual routes taking in part of the South Downs Way (SDW) as it heads towards Kingston windmill and, in the far distance, the chalk cliffs of Seaford Head and the English Channel. There was only one long distance walker on the route. Forty years ago Mrs L and I walked the SDW, although we went east to west so wouldn't have seen this particular view.
