The first frost

The first frost of the year. I've started running again ( I use the term 'running' very loosely as I have never been a good runner, more of a mess moving more quickly)
Went out yesterday and it was nippy to say the least but I actually prefer that. Today, it was undoubtedly frosty everywhere and we came across these nettles, glistening. A good excuse to stop and take a snap.
The dogs love it, I love it slightly less. Having said that I am feeling rather pleased with myself for getting out again today despite hardly being able to cross my legs last night cos of the pain!!
