Sunset

The sky finally cleared in time to give a good sunset, and the air feels warmer too.

I'm not the sort of person who goes to reunions, but I would have gone to one this weekend if it had not been cancelled.  It's 50 years since I "went up" to university.  I'm glad I "went up" once as I feel as if I have been coming down ever since!

In my day, there was a means test that granted full scholarships to working class kids like me.  How lucky we were!  And how lucky we were compared with the poor students who have just arrived at university this year into a maelstrom :-(
