Sunflower

Today's the day ……………………….. for blue skies

Clear skies overnight meant that we woke this morning to a ground frost which had turned the lawn white (see extra).

But it wasn't long before the sun rose in the now blue sky and warmed things up.  A lovely day for being out and about - but out of the sunshine, it was still chilly.  I planted my sunflowers a bit too late this year and so I hope there's still enough good weather left to open up the flowers properly.

It's always good to see a sunflower against a blue sky ………………..
