Sunshine

........ a teeny tiny sunflower has sprung up between the slabs on the patio thanks to the messy birds scattering their seeds. I couldn’t bear to pull it out, it’s already fighting the odds with the nighttime temperatures about to plummet, so I thought I would just blip it and wish it luck :-)

I spent a very enjoyable afternoon with my daughter who I haven’t seen for ages for one reason or another. I’m usually really quiet at home and say very little so I’ve got a bit out of practice ........ I knew it was time to come home when I had talked myself hoarse, lol.
I can’t believe she’s going to be 40 in a couple of weeks ......... makes me feel very old ......... even though I was quite young when she was born......... I know several people only a few years younger than me who have teenage children .......... but even if I had my time again I wouldn’t do things any differently :-)
