In her safe place?

I visited my mum at her care home today, the first time I've seen her since the middle of January. She has been safe in this home. It's had no Covid-19 deaths, or indeed much evidence of the virus. Good management, well-trained staff, or a bit of luck? Who knows? What I do know is that she is eight months further into her dementia and I am convinced that the lack of visitors and stimulation that they would have brought to her days has had a detrimental impact on her, and on our family. I cried when I left her today.
