Poison Ivy

One positive is its brilliant autumn color.  Don't be fooled and touch it though. I was a Plant Science major in college and one of my favorite professors coined the phrase to recognize this nasty but pretty plant "hairy rope, don't be a dope, leaflets 3 let it be, berries of white, take flight".  

A nice 2 mile walk today at the conservation area with Myles.  Still well into the 70s and more clouds than sun today, but still delightful.  

Also tilled most of the vegetable garden except for the Brussels Sprouts which the deer are enjoying, some late season lettuce and Cosmos and Calendula which will all be gone if we have a hard frost.  And if that wasn't enough, I worked on a quilt square for the Block of The Month.  

Now to watch the Boston Celtics basketball.  It's a do or die game for the C's and the score is 48 Celtics, 55 Miami at 3 minutes to half time.  Nail biting time.
