The One That Got Away

Two people check the garden every day, and still this happens. Six pounds, three ounces--easily heavier than a newborn. 

Hearing way too many fire engines and helicopters this evening. Apparently a fire up near campus that is now under control. Good lord I hope so. The weather station hit a high today of 91, with more to come tomorrow.
