Valley rainbow

Around 4.15pm I was driving home from Wells, the sun spreading late afternoon pinky golden light along the valley. The colours were getting more and more intense and I was searching for a place to stop before the sun sank too far and the moment was gone.

I found a place, just a bit late for the blip I wanted. The clouds were rolling over the Mendip ridge with a fine mist of rain, and so there was a little rainbow :)
