Ablaze

Dear Diary,

My perennial grasses are in their full glory right now, ablaze with reds and orange and if you catch them in the right light they look as if they are on fire.  Gone are the subtle pinks and purples.  The want to make sure their last song is a Hallelujah not a whimper!  Finally, a little bit of rain last night.  I hope there is more to come this week.
