Weaving

It's nest building season and there is a whole host of.weavers working hard to impress their partners with their building skills.

It used to be the paperback tree at the bottom of the garden that was their chosen spot but this year they are just below the laundry room so not far from our bathroom windows. Early morning activity is lovely to wake up to, especially when they are doing the work and we are just being lazy.

That was pretty much the way the rest of the day went, spent mostly in the garden with a wee braai supper to finish it off.
