Sweet chestnut

Within one week autumn has really arrived and today it's wet and gloomy. I found a sweet chestnut prickly fruit last week and thought it could serve for today's theme of In and Out. Very prickly on the outside, but nice and edible on the inside. For MonoMonday with thanks to Chantler63 for hosting this week.

Off to bring today's meal and catch my daily glimpse of Jack soon, before we'll hear the latest government's rules to try bring the number of Covid-19 down. It seems we're heading to yet another almost lock-down :-(
