Hello Mr Badger

A couple of years ago we went on a badgerwatch on the nearby hillside. The countryside warden told us to sit very still and keep schtum.

We sat for a full hour on the bare ground without being afforded a glimpse of a badger.

Apparently these notoriously shy creatures are partial to Mars bars and peanuts. I like to think that while we were sitting like stiffs on the hillside all the badgers were up in a tree eating, pointing, laughing......
