Nearly Stumped

The sparrows were most annoyed this morning when they came to enjoy the morning sun, and one got quite uppity - “If this is how you treat us then I’m OFF!” , and he did.  This left me a bit stumped for a blip . . .

I got a few shots through the kitchen window this morning, but for most of the depth of field was so shallow that the hedge was in focus, but not the sparrows(?).  These two just about passed muster.  Feeling somewhat sorry for them I have screwed an old ‘robin nest box’ to the fence.  It was ignored umpteen years back when it was on a tree.
 
The colours in the sawn trunk and branches just had to be blipped.  The pattern has pinned it as a juniper (I think).
