Joanna

My lovely friend Joanna was driving past our house this morning and knocked on the door to see how I was getting on. We had a chat in the hallway and made some plans for the times when we can get out together again.

The weather has turned greyer and wetter today. Sarah came out to the woods with me for a very short stroll. There are a few big old oaks and I think that while I am confined to closer quarters, I will take time to observe them more closely. Being near these trees is very calming and the woods are a good place to be in autumn. I've been watching a lovely series of films called "The Laboratory with Leaves" which has inspired me to look at them more closely.

Now its time to help Sarah make a crumble for tea :-)
