The Ring of Brodgar

Another adventure as we travelled by ferry to Orkney. The morning was dull but the sun came out in the afternoon to light up the landscape and bring out the magic of the island.

We visited Kirkwall, the main town but the ancient sites such as the 21 stones in a circle at Brodgar and the prehistoric site at Skara Brae are the most memorable.
