Lyde (Day 1971)

A quick zoom into town this morning to collect bits, then home and the chance for a really quick ride out with my beautiful wife. It was great fun with loads of cantering and a gallop or two. Back at the field I got a little shot on Red. He is a lot more twitchy than George, though HV insists he is totally safe. I need a bit more time to learn what he wants from me.
Home for lunch, then out with the woofers at Lyde.
The early evening was spent finishing the pointing on the stone wall I uncovered a while back (extra). I am fairly pleased with it. It just needs a few finishing touches and we can get a log burner sorted out.
