Take a seat (literally.)

This was outside what I think was the old Manor House, Upton on Severn. I read on a leaflet that the small upper storey 'windows'  are in fact painted on, not to save on the old window tax, but to give symmetry to the windows below. They look real to me.
Upton seemed to have numerous old listed buildings. 
A long bike ride today, that was cold to start, and mostly dull, though there was a bit of warmth and sun in the afternoon.
