Autumn duvet snuggles

Well if there were any doubt thay my sisters cat was miffed at being left for the weekend, he made it very clear this morning by leaving a poo in the bath for me to find - yuck!

After cleaning that up I popped into Next to buy Ivy some school tights. They didn't have any in her size but I did come out with two new jumpers, a pair of jeans and some new boots for the girls - oops! I then collected the tesco shop drove home and mopped the floor which took a very long time as it needed a really thorough clean after all the deocrating etc.

Picked up the girls and Poppy from preschool and school. They were all on good form so I took the three of them to the park before coming home. Ivy has her first reading book from school, it has no words but she has to tell a story from pictures. She loves reading it to us and pretending she is the teacher.

John set up my computer and a new monitor (provided by work) ready for working from home again (every other week on rota). I'm happy to work from home but setting the office up again brought back the horrid feeling of full lockdown and those early weeks of juggling work and the girls, not a nice memory.

I got Pickle's duvet down and put it on the sofa. He got straight on so I tucked him in to make him nice and warm. He does like a bit of comfort!
