The ugly, overgrown, deep-shade leylandii hedge came down today.

Hurrah.

Though we will feel more the impact of winds from the W/SW, and we and the neighbours are now going to have to be more suburbanly neighbourly than has ever been necessary in the 48 years we've been here.
