Will a mantis eat a humming bird?

The continuing saga of Mr. and Ms. Praying Mantis.  Mr. PM is making his way to the humming bird feeder in the front yard while Ms. PM makes her way down the clothesline post (extra: she's on the left post) in the back yard.  This is her first move in six days, but no egg sacks to be found.  

Mr. PM has been in the Hawthorne for several days.  I fear we may be witness to carnage before long. Remember, they eat small rodents, soooo while the mantis hangs around feeders looking for insects and bees who might stop by...
praying mantis eat hummingbirds!  I do not want to see that.
