Basking in the Afternoon Sun.

Having been experimenting with the settings on my new Nikon D800.I think at long last, with the help of a good friend of mine,I have cracked it??
I now achieve a sharp image,wide open @ f6.3, at a reasonable shutter speed ?
The technicalities of the new generation SLR's can be very demanding on this old brain of mine, but I love the challenge!
The Jackdaws were sunbathing in the late afternoon glow.Hence the colour of the sky and branches.

Nikon D800 +Sigma 150-500 @ 500mm f6.3,1/200 sec ISO 100. I have applied very little sharpening to this RAW file. This is almost straight from the camera.
