My Dear Princess and Dear Fellows,

Today was unpleasant. The boys were outside when Tortie Cat jumped over our fence. Punky went for her, and she went haring off. 

There was lots of shrieking and hissssssing and it was all very upsetting. 

But it got WORSE because Punky got his wires crossed and then attacked Jasper, who was just sitting there, minding his own business.

The boys ran into the house and Jasper (somehow) got under the spare bed. 

It has taken us a couple of hours to calm everyone down again. 

I hate it when they fight. We're supposed to be this lovely little family. 

But as you can see, Punky now seems to have calmed down. Poor Jasper is asleep on the big bed. 

And let us hope that is an end to the matter.
