Dead Flowers

Mary MacKillop, Australia’s only Catholic saint, has a local reserve named for her, with her photo and bio details on a sign at the entrance. At its base someone has added a little shrine, a lighted candle and a couple of vases. The flowers might have been left in early August to mark her birthday.
